Tehran SAMA reported that the conference was held at the conference center of Milad Tower and its inaugural ceremony was attended by Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, a group of Majlis deputies, members of Tehran Islamic City Council, and Mayor of Tehran.
Addressing the ceremony, the mayor noted that Quran is the best recipe for human life and noted that Tehran Municipality was duty-bound to serve Quran and that was why they built a big complex over Abbasabad Hills which will be the biggest Quran complex in the capital city over an area of 70,000 square meters with a buildup area of 63,000 square meters. It will be opened in the next four years.
Larijani, for his part, noted that construction of the biggest Quran center in the country is a major step by Tehran Municipality.
