A hospital named after the famous Iranian surgeon, Professor Majid Samiei, will be built by Professors Samiei International Health Institute in cooperation with Tehran Municipality, Social Security Organization, benefactors, and Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation in west Tehran.
According to SAMA, Public Relations Department of Professor Samiei International Health Institute quoted Mohammad Hadi Mo’azzen, senior advisor to Tehran mayor and director general of Tehran mayor’s office as saying that Professor Samiei International Teaching Hospital will be built in District 20 of Tehran.
He added that the center will be built in cooperation with state organizations and benefactors.
“Afterwards, the hospital will be equipped by Professor Samiei International Health Institute and Shahr Salem Company, as representative of Tehran Municipality, will supervise the project,” he added.
Moazzen further noted that Professor Samiei Hospital will be built over 30,000 square meters and the project is expected to be finished in 18 months.
The official noted that the hospital will be a teaching hospital and its blueprints have been modeled after International Neuroscience Institute (INI) of Germany.
“The blueprints will be finalized by a group of Iranian architects in cooperation with officials of Germany’s Hanover,” he said.
