A summer festival themed “Arts Avenue of Capital City” will be attended by 120 artists at one of the busiest streets of Tehran every week. Also, 12 workshops will be held on the sidelines of the event.
General Department of Public Relations of Tehran Municipality Cultural and Arts Organization announced that the festival aims at localizing and reviving Iranian culture, support artists, and increase people’s awareness of various artistic fields. In the course of summer festival there would be 24 performances on 9 avenues.
The second arts avenue of the capital city has been marked at Narmak neighborhood around Nabovvat Square and the ceremony was attended by urban officials.
Major parts of the festival include performance, photography, handicrafts, pottery, sculpture, recycling, music, graphics, painting, design, and calligraphy workshops in addition to special workshops for stimulating creativity of children.
